It took almost three years, but finally it’s time: Like a Pascha will be screened in Germany. We’ve sold LOTS of DVDs to Germany, but now it’s time for a theatrical screening. The director will be present. At Nordischer Filmklub in Berlin the 14th of March.

German magazine Emma has an interview with the director Svante Tidholm in their latest issue. Now, we are waiting for any german TV or film distributor to pick the film up. Hopefully this will happen soon…

“Like a Pascha” got four out of five in a great review by the biggest newspaper in Sweden, Dagens Nyheter. The critic Fredrik Strage says the film is “fascinating”… Link to the review can be found in the press section of this site.

“Like a Pascha” will be screened at the SXSW film festival in Austin 13-21 of March. This is the international premiere for this film, and already two very positive US reviews are online. Smellslikescreenspirits.com’s writes in their review which gave the film 9/10:

The 23rd of februari an usually interesting interview with Svante Tidholm was published in Helsingborgs Dagblad (in swedish unfortunately), read it and other interviews at the PRESS page!

Thursday the 18th of february, “Like a Pascha” was screened in the Swedish Parliament after an initiative by the Leftist party. The screening attracted more than 70 parliament members and staff. The debate afterwards was intense and focused on the issue of prostitution and why men buy sex.

“Like a Pascha” premiered at Gothenburg International Film Festival in january 2010. When the three scheduled screenings was sold out before the festival even started the festival put in an extra screening (this was the only extra screening during the whole festival)…
